Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Zenzaire Web Studio collects through this website, why it is collected and how it is handled.

Draft for review. This document is a starting template, not legal advice. Every highlighted section below needs business-specific or legal confirmation before the site is published.

Information we collect

When you send the contact form or the project questionnaire, your answers are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in this studio's private database. Submissions cannot be read from this website by anyone — access is restricted to the studio.

Information you provide includes:

  • Your name, business name, email address and phone number
  • Details about your business, project goals, budget and timeline
  • Any files, copy or brand assets you later send for a project

To prevent automated abuse we also store a one-way hashed version of your IP address (the address itself is never kept) and your browser's user-agent string.

Needs review before launch: Confirm this list matches everything actually collected once email delivery, analytics and any payment processing are connected.

How we use your information

We use what you send to respond to your inquiry, prepare a proposal, deliver a project and keep in touch about work in progress. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties except where a service is required to deliver your project — for example a hosting provider, domain registrar or payment processor — and only to the extent necessary.

Needs review before launch: Name the actual processors used (hosting, database, email delivery, payments) and confirm whether any of them store data outside the United States.

Analytics and cookies

This website does not set advertising cookies. Conversion events are recorded in a first-party queue on the page; if an analytics provider is connected in future, it will be used only for aggregate traffic measurement and this policy will be updated to name the provider before that happens.

Needs review before launch: Once an analytics or advertising tool is connected, name it here and add a cookie notice if the tool sets cookies.

Data retention

Inquiries, project correspondence and files are kept for as long as needed to deliver and support your project, and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Needs review before launch: Set a specific retention period (for example 24 months for unconverted inquiries) and confirm it against any accounting or tax record-keeping obligations.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion. Email hello@zenzairewebstudio.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Needs review before launch: Confirm whether GDPR, CCPA/CPRA or other state privacy laws apply to the studio's client base, and add the specific rights, response deadlines and any required disclosures.

Children

This website is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the studio's services change — for example when the client portal launches. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.

Needs review before launch: Update the “last updated” date in one place (`legalUpdated`) whenever the policy changes.

Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@zenzairewebstudio.com.

Needs review before launch: Add the registered business name and a postal contact address, which several privacy laws require.
