Scope of work

Every project is defined by a written proposal that lists deliverables, page count, functionality, revision rounds and the estimated turnaround. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before it begins.

Payment

Projects begin with a deposit that reserves your place in the schedule; the balance is due before launch. Prices published on this website are starting points for the scope described and may change based on your requirements. Third-party costs such as domains, hosting, premium plugins, stock imagery and paid integrations are billed at cost and disclosed before purchase.

Needs review before launch: Set the exact deposit percentage, accepted payment methods, invoice due dates and any late-payment fee. Late fees and interest are regulated in some states.

Revisions

Each package includes a set number of revision rounds. A round is one consolidated set of written feedback, not an open stream of individual requests. Additional rounds are available at the published add-on rate.

Needs review before launch: Confirm the revision-round count per package matches the published packages, and the add-on rate for extra rounds.

Timelines and client responsibilities

Published turnarounds are estimates that assume content, assets and approvals arrive on schedule. A project pauses while it waits on you, and the launch date moves by the length of that pause. You are responsible for the accuracy of the content you supply and for holding the rights to any text, images or logos you send.

Ownership

On final payment, ownership of the delivered website design and content transfers to you. The studio retains ownership of its underlying tools, components and internal methodologies, and may show the completed project in its portfolio unless you ask in writing that it not be shown.

Needs review before launch: Have an attorney confirm the intellectual-property transfer wording, including licences for third-party assets, fonts and stock imagery.

Support after launch

A short post-launch support window is included with each project for fixing issues in delivered work. Ongoing monitoring, updates and content edits are available through a care plan, which can be cancelled at any time.

Cancellation

If a project is cancelled after work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable and any work completed beyond the deposit is invoiced at the agreed rate.

Limitation of liability

The studio delivers work with reasonable skill and care, but does not guarantee specific search rankings, traffic volumes, revenue or conversion results. Liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the project in question.

Needs review before launch: This clause must be reviewed by an attorney. Liability caps, warranty disclaimers and indemnity wording are the highest-risk sections of any services agreement.
